These artificial snow snowfall protects puppies seals from climate change

For millennia, during the Finnish blistering winters, the wind took the snow to meters high snow banks along the coast of Lake Saima and offered first -class real estate, from which the seal of carved cave lair to hide from the elements and raised newborns.
In the last decades, however, these snow snowfalls have not formed in sufficient numbers, because the climate change has a temperature and rain instead of snow, decimating the seal population.
Over the past 11 years, people have entered to build what natural cannot not provide. Snowdrifts made by a person, built with hand snow elephants, now a house of 90% seal puppies. They are the latest of a number of measures that have Bushor Saimaa seals back from the brink of extinction. Read the whole story.
